Privacy notice
This website works without cookies, without analytics, without fonts or maps loaded from third parties and without profiling. We process only the data that the delivery of the pages produces technically, and whatever you write to us yourself.

2. Visiting the website and server logs
When you open a page, your browser sends technically necessary data which our web server records in log files:
- shortened IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of the request
- name and size of the file requested
- notice of whether the request succeeded
- browser type and operating system
- referring page, where the browser sends one
Purpose: delivering the pages, operational security, defending against
and investigating attacks.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.
Retention: seven days at most, after which the logs are deleted
automatically. In the event of a specific security incident the affected entries are
kept until the matter is resolved.
These data are not combined with other sources. We do not build usage profiles.
3. Hosting
The website runs on a server in Germany rented from Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The provider processes the data named in section 2 on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation. The data do not leave the European Union.
4. No cookies, no measurement
We set no cookies and use no comparable technique that stores information on your device or reads information from it. No consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive is therefore required and no consent banner is shown.
No analytics or advertising services are embedded. Fonts and images are stored on our own server; nothing is loaded from a third-party server. Your visit is therefore not reported to anyone else.
5. Contacting us by e-mail
If you write to us, we process your e-mail address, your name and the content of your message in order to answer it.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation
where your enquiry serves to enter into or perform a contract, otherwise Article 6(1)(f)
with our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Retention: until your enquiry has been dealt with. If the contact leads
to a contract, the retention periods of commercial and tax law apply, in Cyprus normally
six years.
There is no contact form on this website. Please note that an unencrypted e-mail may be read by third parties while in transit.
6. Recipients
Data are passed on only to our hosting provider as a processor (section 3), to our e-mail provider for sending and receiving messages, and to public authorities where we are legally obliged to do so. We do not sell data and do not pass them on for advertising.
7. Transfers to third countries
No personal data are transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.
8. Your rights
In respect of the data concerning you, you have the right to:

- erasure, Article 17
- restriction of processing, Article 18
- data portability, Article 20
- object to processing based on a legitimate interest, Article 21
Any consent you have given us can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. A message to info@kcollect.eu is enough.
9. Complaint to a supervisory authority
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is:

10. No obligation to provide data, no automated decisions
You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to give us personal data. Without your contact details, however, we cannot answer an enquiry. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
11. Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our offering or the law changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
